This term is typically used within the context of a 'tech' stack — a combination of programming languages, frameworks, libraries, databases, and tools used to build and operate a software application.
While it is a great way to refer to that grouping of tools, their respective functions and order of utilization — we've found the term useful for well beyond specifically technical tools. An onboarding stack that details the process of an employee's first months, a feedback stack that details how feedback loops within an organization or even and event stack that serves as a playbook beyond the technical tools used in planning/hosting company events and into the forms, meetings and norms surrounding the end to end process.
