Talk about living your values. One of the greatest, if not the greatest, product and industrial designers of all time lived exactly as he worked. He believed in radical simplicity, clean lines, functionality, and 'designing' as little as possible. All aforementioned principles are found in droves within his positively petite Kronberg residence, that he and his wife lived in for the entirety of his working career.

The huge shocker here is the garden. So much revealed about the inner life of a real designer's designer through a few plants. This is undeniably Japanese inspired and shows another side of minimalism, a more emotional or romantic core, serving as a foil Dieter's otherwise ruthlessly cold front.
