Gordes

Gordes is a stunning, historical commune outside of Avignon in the heart of Provence. It's known for its white stone houses stacked on the cliffside, narrow cobblestone streets and the 11th-century Château de Gordes.

This is simply one of the most beautiful villages in the world. As if that wasn't enough for you and your inspiration, it's filled with art galleries, cafes, and is less than two miles away from the truly special lavender-filled Sénanque Abbey.
